What started as a Community Service Committee’s – project in 1998, has today become an annual project of the Club.

The “Good Samaritan Award” recognizes and encourages public spiritedness – of persons who often go well beyond the call of duty in their laudable effort to lend a helping hand to those in need.

We know that in Singapore there are many such people – unsung heroes who give so much of themselves, often in a very quiet and unassuming manner. The Award also hopes to prod others into similar volunteering deeds to emulate them.
